Root canal treatment
Because it’s what’s on the inside that counts
An inflammation of the nerve of a tooth may be caused by bacterial contamination. This process, which usually manifests as pain, means that root canal treatment is needed to preserve the tooth.
By using a surgical microscope, we can carry out precise treatment and in many cases even identify additional canals in the tooth that would otherwise not be possible to treat. This increases the likelihood of the treatment being successful.
Root canal revision
Preserving teeth for the long term and pain-free
In some cases, the canal system becomes infected again after the root canal has been treated. This can manifest as pain or may be seen in an X-ray.
Removing the root filling and carrying out the endodontic treatment (root canal treatment) of the tooth again is the gold standard for preserving the tooth because the likelihood of success is very high, especially with the help of the microscope that we use.
Fragment removal
An eye for detail
During endodontic treatment, instruments sometimes break off and remain in the root canal system. Removing these fragments can sometimes be complicated but doing so significantly increases the success of the treatment.
In our clinic, we specialise in removing instrument fragments and are here to help and advise you.
